The NAACP Gadsden is dedicated to advancing the NAACP’s mission: ensuring the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights for all individuals while working to eliminate race-based discrimination. Through impactful initiatives, we aim to address critical issues such as education, equity, labor and economic disparities, voting rights, housing opportunities, access to healthcare, environmental justice, and criminal justice within the Gadsden County community.

One of our cornerstone events is the Annual Freedom Fund Banquet, a vital fundraiser that fuels our efforts to create meaningful change. This event not only supports activism, outreach, scholarships, economic development, voter education, and advocacy but also celebrates the achievements of individuals and organizations that align with our mission. It serves as a powerful reminder of the strength we gain when we come together as a community.
